Saucedo Parent/Guardian Needs Assessment Survey

As a part of the 21st Century Community Schools Initiative Grant (CSI), we are completing an annual Needs Assessment to identify the greatest needs and wants of our students, families and community to help guide decision making around the programs and services offered at Saucedo for the 2025-2026 school year. Students and staff will also be surveyed with a separate survey. Here is the link to the Saucedo Needs Assessment Parent Survey. This survey is completely optional, but your participation is greatly appreciated.

Tutoring Chicago

Tutoring Chicago provides individualized academic and mentorship programming to 1st-12th grade students facing financial barriers with the guidance and support of a community of dedicated volunteers. Their enrollment JUST OPENED for the 25-26 school year. Tutoring takes place at their site or can be live-virtual. They have four locations near: Lincoln Park, Hermosa/Logan Square, Chatham, and Pilsen.

Students can enroll now to secure tutoring throughout the 25-26 school year! See below for their programming options.

Tutoring Program: Available to students from 1st-12th grade, this tutoring program focuses on math, reading, homework support, social emotional learning and mentorship.

Literacy Intensive Tutoring: Available to students from 1st-5th grade, this program focuses on reading, writing, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension and mentorship.

Saucedo Interes Para Clases de Ingles Para Adultos

Nuestra escuela, Saucedo, ofrece clases de Ingles. Estamos buscando a 25 padres para tomar clases en el otoño del nuevo año escolar. Si esta interesado en participar por favor llene esta encuesta. Para más información contacte a ggalan@cps.edu

Chicago Public Schools is partnering with Kids First Chicago (K1C) to create helpful tools for parents like you to make it easier to understand the school's curriculum. We need your input! Please click here to sign up for a focus group to provide feedback on resources. Your participation will ensure the resources are helpful and supportive for parents and families. Focus groups are available in English and Spanish. For participating in a focus group, you will receive a $25 gift card!

Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 1,400 museums throughout the United States simply by presenting their SNAP EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer) card.
